JoTo's Revenge!

Wes, Noah and I really enjoyed our Labor Day weekend. Wes had a four day weekend with no work and our friends Bobby and Priscilla were in town with their little boy Anders. Noah and Anders are one week apart and it is so cute to watch them play together. Anders learned a thing or two from his older siblings and cousins this summer, so he was pretty good at showing Noah who's boss. Just poke him in the eye and he'll drop his toy and cry like a girl!

Since my birthday was that friday, Bobby, Priscilla, Wes, and I went to our favorite restaurant: JoTo's. It's a Japenese place where they cook the food in front of you. I got the Shrimp dinner - with white sauce of course! (Are you drooling yet Emily?) We all ate way too much and Wes and I definately experienced "JoTo's revenge" but it was worth it. It was a good birthday with good friends - we will miss you Deets family!

Good Times in Chucktown

In August Wes, Noah, and I drove 8 hours to our favorite place: Charleston! We had a great time seeing family and friends while we were there. Noah enjoyed his first trip to the beach and his first trip on the boat. He was not a fan of wearing the life jacket but once he got in the water he was fine. Besides all the outdoor fun, one of the highlights of our trip was playing the wii tournament with all our friends. Watching Wes get his butt kicked in boxing - not once but three times - by Jessie provided many good laughs! We also got to look around at neighborhoods and houses that we might be interested in when we move back to the Holy City next May. All in all it was a very fun and relaxing vacation.
